A hard look needs to be taken concerning the election contribution rules and regulations in regards to cyber security. The laws are antiquated and written during a time when cyber wasn't a threat. Today, it is prevalent and a critical issue. One piece is free. Educate the campaign workers about cyber security, require them to take a cyber awareness class. Most targeted cyber attacks are successful because of human error/negligence. The other part would be to offer security services via DHS, to both sides. This keeps it non-partisan and non-contributive.
